Pole dance camps / Iron Convent

Going to a pole dance camp alone? A guide to travelling solo

You want to go to a pole dance camp, but nobody from your studio can join you. Travelling solo does not have to mean spending the trip alone. A shared schedule creates opportunities to meet people; a little preparation makes the first step easier.

Iron Convent Summer Edition 10 participants together in the training room

Choose your level before finding a travel buddy

Start by checking whether the programme suits your experience. A camp for regular pole students can have different requirements from beginner classes. Iron Queen Convent 6 offers Intermediate, Advanced and Master groups.

If those labels feel vague, describe your training to the organiser: how long you have trained, the classes you attend and what you are working on. That is more useful than comparing yourself with other people’s videos. Explore the next edition’s programme and levels.

Discuss accommodation before paying

Tell the organiser that you are coming alone. Ask about available rooms, how roommates are allocated and any extra charge for your preferred option. Do not assume that a single room or shared transfer is automatically included.

Confirm the arrival time, first meal and where the first session takes place. Clear practical arrangements leave more room to enjoy training and time away.

You do not need to meet everyone on day one

A conversation about class is an easy start: where you have travelled from, which workshop you are taking and the styles you enjoy. Shared training provides a natural topic, with meals and breaks offering more chances to connect.

You do not have to join every conversation. Spend part of an evening with the group and part on your own terms. Solo travel also gives you freedom over the time between sessions.

Hear from people who have already been

A group photo shows the size of an event, while participants’ own words give a better sense of its atmosphere. Our new film features people from the US, Israel and Europe talking about their Iron Convent experience.

Watch “A community without borders” and the conversation with Juan. Get to know the people and decide whether this kind of trip feels right for you.

Your short checklist before booking

Confirm the group level, room arrangement, travel, package inclusions and cancellation terms. Save the organiser’s contact details and note any questions you still need answered.

The next Iron Queen Convent 6 takes place on 17–21 March 2027 in Małe Ciche. If you are travelling solo, email us to discuss the available options before deciding.
